Oh Canada......
I know he is not a prospect anymore haha.... that and most don't hear about him in the US of A, but I think Hill is finally coming into his full potential and blossoming into a very solid 2nd baseman.

He missed basically all of last year with "Concussion Syndrom" or something along those lines BUT the year before he was already starting to show.... that he is definitely the Jays 2nd baseman of the future.

2007- .291 17 HR 78 RBI 14 E

so far these are his numbers this year:

.373 5 HR 18 RBI

I just want to know what the members think his career potential is.... and your thoughts on Hill.

I like him & think he fits the mold of a Dan Uggla type player with a ceiling of Uggla's production (which isn't a bad thing in the least!). :D

I would Definitely be a happy man with those numbers.... and the fact that he is a better fielder, those numbers + good fielding.... Mark (thedailyprospect) could cash in $$ ;).

I don't see him dropping the kind of bombs Uggla does but I think he will hit for a better average and play better D.

Yeah, that's why I put "ceiling" of Uggla's production (I should have worded it better- maybe as: ceiling for Uggla's power production?). I think A.Hill is already off to a booming start in the power category & "could" possibly put 26-30 bomb's up this year. :D

I've heard him compared to Alomar. Alomar had more speed and better range but I think still comparable players.
