Brad! You've got one of those UD Black rookie autos, right?

Could have sworn he just got one.

Yep. Mike sent me a JD one.

Can you take a look at it and compare it to another card and see if it's the same size or just a little smaller?

Here's mine with a regular size card on top. It's two or three millimeters short on top and one or two on the sides. I didn't even notice the deal until I put it into a one-touch. While other cards are a decent fit, there is a good amount of room for this one to move around. Even so, it doesn't look like it's been trimmed. I don't know if you could even trim a card so thick without leaving telltale signs.

not familiar with the set myself but it looks centered as to not sure where the trimming would take place

I put it in a one touch. It is shorter than the Phillip Merling NT that was in the one touch. I have noticed that with thicker cards, the cutting is less exact. I have a Chris Perry Sweet panel auto that I swear is slightly diagonal.

Sweet. Thanks for the help. I have also noticed that thicker cards aren't as exact, but so far I hadn't run into anything this 'large.' The SPX shadow box cards that UD put out this year, by their very nature, are cut weird. There are 5 or 6 layers all sandwiched together, and it looks like they probably can't be made in a sheet and then cut like normal cards. The edges are all uneven and at funny angles.

There seems to be a direct correlation between people thinking that UD losing their NFL license is awesome and me thinking that the person is a dick.
