Hey guy's, I really appreciate you all joining up & look forward to a competitive & fun fantasy football season!
Lets get things going with discussing our individual entry prize's, if you have a scan or can create a scan of your designated item that holds a $45-$50 SV (Sell Value) and place it in this thread so we can decide as a group to accept or maybe suggest finding something else, than we'll be able to get those sent in! For the most part, if the item sells on Ebay for $45-$50 then your item is accepted, we're not looking for item's that everyone must like; we're just doing it this way to make sure that what is sent in is of equal SV as everyone else's (as we need to somewhat come to a group agreement on each person's item so it is a fair entry). I'll repeat myself so we're all on the same page: we're not going to judge other's item's here, we're strictly going through this process to make sure everyone's prize is of equal value...(if something doesn't have a current SV on Ebay, we're a pretty informed group of collector's & can figure out what it's worth).
Here are some other things that we need to look at & discuss (or if need be, take a vote on) to get ironed out before the draft:
1. Scoring Format- I currently have the league scoring format set up to award bonuses for certain achievement's (you can see these in our Yahoo league under "Scoring & Settings").
Here is the Passing Yards setup: 25 yards per point; 2 points at 300 yards; 3 points at 350 yards; 4 points at 400 yards.
Ex. So if a QB throws 325 yds, he will have the initial 25 yds per point=14pts + the 2pt bonus for reaching 300 yds; so thier total=16pts before TD's,INT's, & Fumbles.
The bonus ONLY comes into play if the QB reaches 300 yards, as this rewards your player's for reaching stat's that aren't an every-week occurrence & the higher the achievement the more the bonus points...These bonus points are used to reward a player who might not score alot of TD's but puts up extraordinary yardage (but the bonus's are not a crazy amount that will single-handedly determine your weekly matchup)
Question:Do you guy's want to keep the achievement bonuses or do you want me to take them out?
2. Draft date & Time: We need to come up with an agreeable date & time for our live draft to be held as the time/date that I have set for our league was made to get the league registered & is not the actual draft time (it will definitely be changed).
So please give me suggestion's here in this thread as to when would be a good date/time to draft (we will have to most likely compromise people, as I don't expect all of our schedules to match...but you never know, we may come up with the perfect date/time that we can all agree on? :lol: ).
Well I've typed ALOT for now, just post your response's suggestion's & we'll see everything through in a prompt fashion to get this draft scheduled & completed! Also please post your scan's of your entry item's & as long as you meet the requirement everything will be fine & dandy! I'm not against anyone of you offerring up more, as I will definitely be doing so! (I'll be posting mine tommorrow-Tuesday 25th)
