I'll be the team that drafts the kicker in the third round, and his IDPs in rounds 4-6.

I was just informed by Razor (Brian Gray) that he will be putting up:

2 boxes of 2009 Bowman Football Jumbo's!!! :shock: (Now that's frickin' SWEET! :lol: )

I was also notified by beefycheddar that he is still in also!

I will update tommorrow as to who is confirmed & will also give those who's item's have been listed in this thread & approved, my address so they can't get them sent out! (if you've posted your item in this thread & I haven't contacted you yet, then I will definitely do so tommorrow & we'll fully square it away)!

Just put it this way people... this league has got some SWEET prize's thus far...I mean SWEET!

Since so many people are being generous, is there a thought to "paying" more than just the winner? Perhaps the top 3?

You could let people pick the cards they want, with the winner getting first pick (and more picks) than 2nd and 3rd place.

Yes sir, this is what I wrote in one of my post's (though it may be in the signup thread on the baseball board, not sure); this isn't actually a "Winner Takes All" type of prize league. It will be better determine & posted "before" we draft, but thus far the rough draft set-up is the person who actually wins the entire league (1st place winner at the end of the season, who has won the champinship game) gets the first 3 picks from the prize's. Then the runner-up (the team who lost in the championship game) gets to choose 1 prize from the prize's that are left. Then the person who had the highest score overall "at the end of the regular season, NOT the Win/Loss leader (the team who had the highest point total- this could end up being the 6th ranked team who just ended up placing 6th because they were unlucky each week playing team's who had "career week's" the week that they were scheduled to play them..this is basically the "hard-luck" winner, as although thier team scored the most points overall; they played team's weekly who had huge performance's from thier player's....This has been me on many occassion's, I'd have the highest or 2nd highest point total at the end of the fantasy regular season but wouldn't make the dang playoff's because my strength of schedule placed me against the wrong team at the wrong time ::facepalm:: :lol: ).

That would make a total of 5 prize's chosen, so then the prize selection would snake back around to the championship winner & he would choose 3 again & then back to the 2nd Place winner, & then to the team with the highest point total from the regular fantasy season (almost like a draft, but it wouldn't go from picks #1-to-#3 then picks #3-to-#1, it would go from picks #1-to-#3 & then back to picks #1-to-#3 again).

Get what I'm saying (it can be confusing but I tried to explain it the best I can)? We can add to it if we want the 3rd place team to get some prize's too (but that will take away from the 1st place winner, 2nd place winner, & the Highest point total of the regular season)?

Speak up folk's or I'll actually have to act like a comish & make the decision's on my own! :lol:

I'd be in favor of having the 3rd place person "get their money back," meaning they'd get one pick of a Top 14 submission.

I will send out my entry tomorrow and have a scan in a couple of hours. It is a Ken griffey Jr. Auto facts autograph and I will see what else I can throw in... If this is not a big enough prize please let me know... I did pay $55 for it when I purchased it.... Also, what is the time of the draft????

I've rescheduled the draft for Tuesday Sept 8th (NFL kicks-off Thursday Sept 10th) & we have now cornered ourselves into a wall...this may be the "concrete" draft-time so if you cannot make this date then please LMK? Right now it is for 7:30pm....

I've PM'd several of you today & will be making alternates for those that do not respond by tommorrow. We need you to have your prize entry item's posted here & they need to be approved, upon approval I'll send you the mailing address (we really need these sent with delivery confirmation no later than Fri-Sat...Sat being the extreme latest).

Received everyone's PM's so far & responded to them all.

Now I've told everyone several times (just to be sure) to PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE make sure & go to our league early & "Test Your System" (though if you have recently drafted on Yahoo then it's not really necessary, but it couldn't hurt to check & be sure...because if you can't enter the draft room then Yahoo will be picking for ya & although that might not be a bad thing; it will be out of your hand's as well as mine who you get)!...So no griping or complaining if you don't check & then show up to a draft link that you cannot enter, as you've been plenty warned boy's & girl's!

Thanks to everyone in the league for being so good on the communication front as it's been EXTREMELY helpful for me to hear from you all!

Good Luck everyone, due to the GREAT member's we have in this group I'm definitely expecting one of the toughest & most competitive season's in fantasy that I've ever faced! We're going to have one SWEET pot of gold for the winner's at the end of the rainbow! :shock: :lol:
