Those 94 On Base Leaders were one of the nicest cards I had ever seen at the time. Classic set that was tough from the get go.
They sure don't show up very often. 1:36 Series 2 Jumbos so I guess you'd have to open 12 boxes with perfect collation to pull a set. 1:432 packs for any particular player? They seem tougher than that.

I've got the Griffey and the Thomas but I'm missing the other 10.

A nice cheap mailday:

Eck completes 2018 Ginter Mini Black. Grieve gets me one away from completing 1998 Donruss Signature Proofs, missing Rickey of course. And this 2009 Justin Marks was the only pre-2020 Elite Extra A's (ahem, "Oakland") base auto I didn't have. It's short-printed, 33/99.

Neat Reggie!

Yesterday's mail:

The Vida Blue auto is a 2001 "Koeberle & Associates" card, not catalogued by Beckett but the set is in TCDB - 4 cards, 2 each for Blue and Manny Sanguillen. Never heard of them before and the only other card from the set on eBay is a Sanguillen auto from the same seller I got this from. Weird one! The Grieve is a 1999 UD Choice Prime Choice Reserve 038/100. These are super duper hard to find, I only have one other card from the set in my collection, a Tejada I picked up years ago. Then a Silk Emil Brown and Black Matt Joyce. I was surprised I was able to win the 2020 Topps Black Sean Murphy RC 16/69, usually Topps Black RCs sell for more than I'd want to spend.

More 90s Goodness today. I'm sneaking a few football cards in but oh well. They're sets I built back in the day that I don't have anymore and they're still as cool now as they were then.

The Mosaic Dilfers are the White 22/25 and Camo Pink. I've got 14 of them now and not even close to done. The 1997 Leaf Fractal Matrix Die Cut McGwire leaves me one card short of the team set. And the Jermaine Dye 2004 Mirror Blue auto 029/100 gives me all 6 A's from the set that are numbered above /10.

Nice comic, buttmunch. Huh huh huh huh.

A couple more 2021 Mosaics, Green Swirl 10/11 and No Huddle Silver. Why the second one wasn't just called Bubble Prizm or something is beyond me. That gets me up to 16 different, which is halfway to the 32 non-1/1 cards, so that's something.

Henderson was the last Athletic I needed from 2011 Topps Diamond Die Cuts. The McGwire was another one on the list of '90s Macs I'm going after this year. And the two Bowman Chromes are a lesson in patience. 95% of prospect cards will come down in price in the long run, either because they are duds or they are just a good player and not a Trout-level player.
