Received a redemption and bought another one....

2015 Topps Strata Mariano Rivera #d/25
First card purchase from 2015. Keeping my fingers crossed that his one looks nearly as good as the stock image. Last year's was a plain grey swatch, the Piazza from this year and his Dynasty patches give me hope that Topps used patches on this card. I don't expect the interlocking NY, but any jumbo patch would be nice. Had to jump on it, looks like one of his most promising cards from 2015. Triple Threads has jumbo patches but they aren't on card autographs.

2015 Stadium Club Autograph #d/25
Finally received the redemption from Topps. A throwback to the 90s Stadium Club sets. Love the picture, commemorating a great moment in Yankee history.




2014 Topps Heritage High Number Yankees Team Set (7 cards)
Was able to trade for these for my team sets, still need a bunch of regular Heritage base and SP from 2014, but wanted to snag these before they get put away into collections.

Awesome Rivera's, I'm hoping the patches are nice this year as well. I was lucky to get one with a patch for Goldschmidt last year, but I know a lot of them were just plain swatches. Goldy's a redemption this year though, so probably just going to hold off until they're live.

On a side note, picked this up last week, been searching a long time for one of these.

Still pretty darn sweet.

Crazy thing is that it would cost a company far more to buy another Gehrig gamer to make these cards (even if they got 2000 pieces from a jersey) than the card costs.

Very sharp cards. With the size of my Yankee collection I have yet to add high end vintage player g/u. That interlocking NY logo looks funky on that Ruth back to back card. Nice cards!
