Fighters you could never dislike?

Okay, seen this on 411mania and thought it was interesting. Everyone has that one fighter that`s `their guy`. The dude that they will always cheer for no matter what they do or who they are fighting. So who is that fighter/fighters for you?

That fighter for me after thinking about it for a minute has to be Forrest Griffin. If I HAD to choose 1, that would be the dude. He just has the biggest heart I have ever seen, and no matter who he is fighting, I want Forrest to win, whether I love the other fighter too. Other fighters I can never see myself disliking are all the guys in the LIKE part of my signature. Fighters like Wanderlei, Anderson and GSP are just the cream of the crop entertainment wise when I am watching MMA. Their fights, along with Brocks just have a whole different feel to me. It`s like watching Jordan play to me. You just know you are going to witness greatness win or lose. Machida is getting to that level for me too. But I can never see myself disliking any of those guys. But then again Penn would have been on that list too a few months ago, but his whining and complaining after getting owned by Georges really made me hate the guy.

Forrest
Rich Franklin

Wanderlei Silva. The guy could lose his next 10 fights and he would still put me on the edge of my seat everytime.

For me it's Chuck Liddell. Also Lesnar, just because a lot of people hate him and can't past the WWE thing.

- Fedor - The best in the world and all class.
- Bob Sapp (yeah I know, but he is like a comic book character thats come to life! Always enjoy his fights)
- Joachim Hansen - The current Dream lightweight champ and a good friend. Always puts on a great show, will fight anyone and is very respectful.

I dont know more stories, but I certainly have some fond memories.

I remember eating dinner with Dan Henderson, Carlos Newton, and Phil Baroni in Quebec back in 2006. One of my good friends is friends with Carlos. Awesome time and Hendo is exactly like you see him on TV. Baroni is funny as hell, and Carlos is one of the smartest people I have ever met period.

I just ran into Mark Bocek at the Toronto MMA expo 2 weeks ago and we shot the you know what about back 5 years ago before he even had his first MMA fight.

I will make a new thread with my MMA collection later today but I am really excited that I am going to a Wanderlei Silva MMA seminar on July 4th. I actually cant wait. Afterwards, I have 3 of his Pride cards to sign, 1 oddball type card, UFC 84 program and ticket stub, and my 3 month olds onesie, LOL!

Yeah Carlos is a good guy. Talks like Mike Tyson so everyone rips him for it.

Meeting Wanderlei to me will be like a kid who grew up in the 50's meeting Mickey Mantle.

The guy is my hero as a fighter. Always willing to go out on his sword.

Thiago Alves - The coolest dude I have ever met. Just a happy guy with a humble attitude. Not to mention, he is a bad ass!

Urijah Faber - Laid Back Cali, incredible fighter, nuff said.

Mike Brown - As someone who trains under an ATT black belt, I have a love for all guys ATT. Mike Brown is just awesome, just like Thiago.

Rich Franklin - Classy dude, humble guy, great ambassador for the sport.
