61% said none. :o

Thats probablly due to the fact most are still at work. And the ones at work are more likely to actually have the funds to buy/bust cases and or boxs. Lets see tonight at 10:00pm what the tally is..

If this thread isn't still on the first page by then, I'll be sure to bump it.

I can afford to buy cases of this stuff if I wanted it, but I know there are far better things/cards to spend my money on. JMHO..

Then you don't fall into the categories I mentioned.

Do you buy any prospect wax?

While Jaypers does not want anything bad to be said about Razor in this thread, or anywhere for that matter, he has to understand that many of us have not bought into the hype machine that has been rolled out onto this board. The poll is a silent voice for many who are afraid to post their honest opinions about Razor in a thread.

I do buy all kinds of wax, but I buy stuff that I feel will be a good product to spend my money on.

Why would people be afraid to voice their opinion on a baseball card message board?

Also, the "hype machine" comment is laughable considering the blind love for certain brands in the hobby. Razor hasn't even been released yet and certain people have written it off. From every thing I know about the company, the checklist, and the product, it is worth the try and at the very least I feel judgement should be held until the product is actually here to judge.

That isn't what I said, and I have no problems with critiques about Razor. I haven't bought a single box of it. I just don't want this thread to degenerate into a bashing/pissing match. I've kept quiet for the most part as other threads critiquing Razor just go on and on and on, making the same points over and over, eventually leading to personal attacks.

It's not necessary, and we've heard it all before. I just want to keep things civil, and to hopefully stick to the topic at hand.

I do buy all kinds of wax, but I buy stuff that I feel will be a good product to spend my money on.

I think your comment of "many who are afraid to post their honest opinions about Razor" is probably wrong.

MANY, MANY people have posted their honest opinions about Razor. Some HAVE bashed it, but others are able to express their opinion without bashing or believing it to be the ONLY opinion available about a product.

I personally chose 0, but that is because I want to see the product go live first before I determine if I want to buy any of this product.

I am neither for or against Razor, so I have lobbied neither way. I do enjoy how much they have reached out to the hobby community and what they are trying to do. I hope they are successful, but, if not, it wouldn't break my heart much ;)

And I think Jaypers just doesn't want a huge Razor argument to start in this thread, which seems to happen in ANY thread that even so much as has the word Razor in it.

But, I have to admit, I do agree with your first statement

Personally, I have received many emails from members who have stated that they don't post their honest opinions about Razor, due to the fact that they know certain mods/admins and popular members of this forum will go at them, or not like them anymore. They would rather remain silent, but they are tired of the constant praise of Razor, and the personal bashing of anyone who does not like Razor.

Yes, their is a "hype machine" a rolling. Clearly.. But.. not all of us are sheep.

What a joke. You are trying to call Razor supporters sheep? Give me a break.

Your friends are cowards if they are afraid to voice their opinion or have someone not like them on a message board. I hope they have desk jobs or are papers pushers; I'd hate to see them try to make it in the real world.

I was a Bowman Draft Case buster the last 3 years and I bought 0 this year. Not because of Razor and I won't be opeing a case of Razor. I'm buying 2 boxes from a buddy and ONLY THEN, will I form an opinion.

But, like I said, as of right now; everything I know so far is positive and I'm going to give them a try. At least they are aggressive and proactive and don't simply release a scaled down, less quality set at the same price because they know the lemmings will come a callin'.

And you are who, the anti-razor ring leader?

Before you start making statements that are false about the mod/admin staff of this site, think long and hard. Noone that works on this site is in any way favoring Razor or bashing members for not liking them. You can dislike Razor all you want, but the praise comes from their ability to talk to the consumer, not how "cozy" we get with them.

It has been stated to you and many other too many times to count. No mod or admin is getting anything for having a certain opinion about Razor, or to hype their products. We merely have a marketing/advertsing deal, on a business level, with the company and nothing more. If we like their stuff, then great. If we don't, then we will certainly make it be known.

Like I said, you can dislike Razor all you want, but until you start naming your "people", you just come off as another hater with a vendetta about something.

You can post opinions, but do not slander our sponsors, partners, staff or members in any way.

I buy wax and prospects stuff but only go to Bowman, Bowman Chrome, Bowman's Best and Bowman Draft. All the other prospects stuff looks lousy, although I think EEE blows away Razor.

I am not even a prospect guy so please no accusation on being a Chromie or whatever you call it.

Yes, there are certain people on this board who have sheep that follow them, and whatever they say is always the popular voice. If you can't see it, that's too bad. Go find that UL Washington bat, and give yourself a wack to the head, and maybe you could finally see it(just a joke, since I know you use to swing that bat around in the card shop). Lol..

I'm not buying any Razor, because I think the stuff looks cheap, and just another re-invented version of TriStar or Just. This has been tried before, and when the cards look cheap, and the product is non-MLB licensed, it will not be widely accepted/raved after by the rest of the hobby. In short, I will not waste my money. It's my honest opinion, and if I am wrong, I will come here and say so. I doubt I will get the same from the other end, if I am right.

I guess we'll just have to wait until the product comes.

The last thing I'll say is that Razor is no different than Elite...in that it is an unlicensed product. But Razor went out and signed some serious prospects to exclusive deals.

I DID NOT slander anyone. I stated my experience from this forum, and passed on info that others have shared with me via email. That's too bad that you don't like that. It's true, some folks, including me, have been personally attacked for speaking our minds about this product. I NEVER said any mods/admins were receiving anything, or any favor. That is something you brought up, and I don't know where you came up with that.

I have NO vendetta, I just think the Razor product looks cheap, and the design is nothing that interests me in anyway. It's that simple. I feel it was a total failure on how it was done. If the design was better, I might have felt very differently about it.

I dont know why anyone even bothers with Stan, his act is boring and tired. He speaks his mind and no one ever said it was a good mind. I have heard some very valid arguments about Razor and then i've just seen garbage. TO hint that moderators would actually hold grudges against anti-razor members is moronic.

Point blank... watch what you say about the mod/admin staff that make this site what it is - a great community. You brought up that aspect with your comments, so keep your opinions about the actual razor product, not what you feel the mod/admin staff does about it.

We don't discourage anyone from speaking their mind about the razor line, as long as they aren't spreading lies and slander without merit.

I'll talk trash all I please...if I want to jab at a few because someone mentioned 61% voted no, then I will.

You might want to read the entire thread before making a post that is going to stir the pot. I did nothing that deserves a call out.

Ok you called people lemmings yet got angry when someone returned the favor and called razor people sheep.
You where the first to say ANYTHING negative even though th OP KINDLY asked differently, I guess that was you trying to NOT stir the pot.
You use the term "blind love" in a derogatory way yet are showing your love for a product that has not been released yet.

Care to tell me what part I missed? I am all on board for the haters shutting up but in the same right people dont need to bait other members with loaded comments as every one of yours in this topic has been.
