Everyone knows sports cards are considered a form of gambling, right? It's been said that's the reason for the odds listed on packs as well as the NPN systems. Wouldn't packsearching in some sense be the same as using a tool to decipher winning scratchoffs?
I know it's way out there, but it's somewhat similar in the fact they they are defrauding the odds. Meh, I just don't buy retail. In fact, I think they should just remove major hits from retail, period, and just lower the price to appeal to kids more.
I've never heard of that, but it sounds like a great idea. For those who like a quick fix at Walmart, it will be less expensive and they can get more parallels. For those who spend the big bucks for a chance at the money card, they buy hobby boxes at card shops or on the internet. It might also drive more business to card shops if that's where the big hits are. I'm sure there are problems that I haven't thought of, but it's worth a thought.
This ball needs to get to rollin.
