Finally get to meet Nick Ramirez (Wisconsin Timber Rattlers)

Finally today is the day I get to meet up with Nick Ramirez and his girlfriend at the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers (Brewers Single A) game. Was supposed to meet them last month, but it didn't work out. I think it will be good timing as Jonathan Lucroy will be playing his third rehab game. My buddy that's going with knows the athletic trainer for the team so hopefully we will get up and close to some more of the players. I really don't feel like dragging cards with me, but the Timberrattlers will be playing the Lugnuts and I see that Noah Syndergaard and Aaron Sanchez play for the team. If anything, I hope to return with some pictures and some cool stories. Heading out to dinner after the game so I am hoping we can convince some of the other players, maybe even Lucroy to come out with us.

I will make sure to post my experience tomorrow and some pictures as well.

Very cool. My wife and I are trying to move out to Appleton/Little Chute area. I am sure once we get out there, we'll take in a few games.

Yeah, it should be fun. Going with a good group of people as well that also like baseball. I am sure I won't be as upset if they lose opposed to going to a Brewer game and knowing the outcome.

No clue. Have never been to the stadium before. Going to try to get there pretty early and take it all in. I read where Lucroy will be batting DH today so should provide some decent offense. Will be sitting in the family section so should have some interesting conversations.

It's a pretty nice area. I live about 2 hours from Appleton. Summers are great, winters are nasty...just like anywhere in Wisconsin.
