Can you enlighten me on the 1980 Caribbean Championship? I've never heard of it

Cal played two years of winter ball. I believe both years were with Caguas in Puerto Rico. If you look in my image gallery you will see Cal receiving a trophy that is nearly as big as he is for winter ball MVP. He said that when he won the trophy he took it home and gave it to his mother. She placed it beside the television and said it didn't balance out. He promised her that he would go baack and win another MVP award, which he did, and placed it on the other side of the television.
