Finally scanned some cards

I have been having tzoros (problems) with my scanner for a while, but I finally was able to scan a bunch of recent (and not so recent) pick-ups.

Hard to argue with game-used auto'd bat barrels, especially for retired guys.

A couple of MLBers who I felt were reasonably priced (both were picked up months ago.)

Thanks. I've been busy and money has been tight. Hopefully with baseball season around the corner we'll get some interesting, intelligent baseball chatter going. You're definitely one of the members I enjoy reading on these boards.

Thanks man! I have tried to keep away from baseball discussions lately due to the fact that most times it just turns into a shouting match , but Pujols MVP win + baseball season right around the corner, I might just start talking again.

Thanks. I have a whole bunch more to scan, but because money has been tight and I've had to sell off, I try not to post too many threads showing pick-ups. I know that it comes off as a little "spammy" if I show off some cards here and them try to move them shortly after so I haven't posted much, though that may be the reality for some of these as well.

The bat barrels have been part of my mission to expand where I look to invest in cardboard. My first attempt was the APOH bat set and I was able to do extremely well with what I believed was minimal risk. This set IMO was extremely undervalued upon release which IMO meant potential profits with little risk. They are a bit hard to move though once you get them as IMO they look awesome, and are pretty rare pieces (few bat barrels have ever been made, especially for retired guys.)

Keep posting, there are plenty of people who enjoy the well thought out, coherent posts. It's a nice change from the banter and drivel that at times seems to dominate discussions.

WOW Those bat barrel autos are just plain sick!!! I have me some of the Jumbo jersey autos commimg in sood myself but now I wish I would have went with the Barrels's. Sweet man......
