Still No 10s. I didn't really expect any of these to hit a 10, but seeing as they are allegedly easier to get these days, I kinda wondered. The Blue Taveras seems like a resub waiting to happen. An 8 for the centering? It's a little low and right, but comparing it to the Refractor, it's less than the with of the red borderline in both directions. What's interesting is the 10 auto on both Taverases. I've heard they were rough on these grades because of the way the pen wipes away the ink when it crosses over itself, but I'm cool with it.

I was thrilled to get the Puig 9.5. As of Monday when the order finished, it was a pop 1, but today it's 2. I suppose I better list it ASAP.

The black Upton is #1 /25, and I was kind of surprised it gemmed. The centering seems a tiny bit off L/R, but I won't complain about that, either. All 9.5 subs is nice.

The Jeter is just there to get a gauge. Back in 1993-94 I filled a binder sheet with 9 copies, quickly decided to put them into top-loaders, and they've sat there ever since. This is the best looking of those, I think, and I'm happy it hit an 8. My others would probably be 7-8 with different subs, so probably not worth grading.

Anyway, at least a few of these will be on ebay shortly. Thanks for looking.

How's the centering on the Back of the Blue Taveras? That could be your problem there.

I think the blue Oscar is more of a top to bottom issue. To be honest I would send it in for a graded card review if you think it could bump. I think centering is a tricky thing to eyeball. It is the one I struggle with card to card.

Centering is probably the most subjective sub-grade for BGS. I subbed a card that got an 8.5 centering, cracked it and re-subbed a few weeks later and it came back with 9.5 centering.
