Wow. That looks bad, even if there was no cherry picking and nothing else shady was going on, it looks really bad. If I was one of these guys who broke multiple cases, I would be furious.

I know Joe (wjc) and trust him completely - if he says there's nothing shady about it, then I believe him. He hit a home run on supers but got 1 redemption in 20 cases...so it cuts both ways.
That said, selling cases to employees who bust them is always going to come with some conspiracy risk
Joe is a guy I have been dealing with for years as well. He is responsible for our bgs group sub and has done more than most know to help this site grow.

No matter what, it looks bad. There is a reason companies don't let their employees get first dibs at a large chunk of their inventory.
For the record, I am not one of these Leaf trolls who looks for any reason to bash them. I own tons of Leaf stuff. Just calling it like I see it in this case... It looks really bad.

I do agree it looks bad but other companies do the same. Not saying its right or wrong. Topps has an employee store where guys can pick up draft boxes for $20 or something a box but not sure if they can buy it buy the case.

At least the cases weren't hand collated. I would say that the previous issues with leaf and razor will make this blow up.
