First signed Tony Gwynn Mcfarlane Collector Level on Ebay

Looks like Mcfarlane Cooperstown series 7 is hitting. With first signed Gwynn of 100 has surfaced. Will be interesting to see what these sell for. I think the Gordie Howe signed ones from NHL Legends serial #50 sold in $500 range.

Yeah, it's good move for them. Next NHL series coming out I think has 6 different signers and Prince Fielder is in next regular MLB line.

Random inserted into cases, more than a few people found Howe signed ones hanging at stores. best place to check is TRU they carry pretty much every series. Walmart is hit or miss, target is supposed to be carrying NFL Mcfarlane again in fall.

One of the big online Mcfarane online retailers is getting a exclusive Doc Halladay Phillies, but none are signed.

You can try TRU but chances are any of the action figure collectors already have the stockers swiping these out of cases in the back and getting their palms greased.

I said it before a while back because the same thing happened to me with some of the Marvel Legends back when I collected comic based action figures. I was looking with my wife one night over on the toy aisle at a walmart in Pasadena and the guy working the dept. asked me if I was into those kinds of action figures. I told him yes and he offered to sell me some of the variants for like $15 or $20 a piece. Bastard. I should have reported him but I let it go if I remember right. Best thing to do is go to a hick town where nobody is into that stuff. Too bad TRU isn't as prevalent as Wally world in hick towns eh?

Seems signed Gwynn are selling in $250-$275 range when they come up on ebay. They CL chases of Lou and Munson are doing pretty well. Checked my local TRU and they just regular Ruth and Morgan left hanging.

Went to TRU a few weeks ago and they had 2 sealed cases, was hoping for a Gwynn auto but both had Yaztremski variant :evil:
