Ok, so someone on eBay wins a card that I was watching for $22.50.
A week later the guy who bought the card has it for sale with a $1 opening bid, $9.89 shipping, and a reserve. I search for it tonight, it is gone, but it has been relisted.
Now it is $20.00, $9.89 shipping, no reserve and it has a bid. The interesting thing is that the bid history says "Private Listing - Bidders' Identities Protected"
The seller only has 14 feedback.
Do any of you think that this seller is bidding on his auction to maximize profits? (Pretty much shill bidding, but before anyone else bids. ::facepalm:: ) Or do you think that it is a coincidence the listing is private and there is a bidder now that the there is no longer a reserve.
