That's a joke...almost as much of a joke as the Pac-10...the Big 10...and the Big 12...although the Big 12 is respectable. SEC football is a league of it's own...any team that can win the SEC championship game deserves a shot at the National Title. Why? Because they had the hardest struggle all season...without question.

Yeah, Florida holding a team who had what, 5 consecutive 60+ point games to only 14 points isn't impressive at all.
You just watched a lot of future NFLers on Florida, especially on defense. I was fairly neutral in this game but Florida impressed me.

I seriously can't wait until Tebow is in the NFL and has mainstream cards. I said I was going to collect him when he was a freshman.

I dont see him having a much of a career. what round is he going to be drafted, I have heard not in the early rounds at all.

I think most people agree that the bowl system it antiquated and broken. The fact we call it a championship game is not correct. the true losers are the fans, the ranking system at the start of the season is a joke and it plays into the computer systems. look at the numbers the Pac 10 was not as weak as people made it out, 5-0 in bowl games. and the sec was a bit down this year. with the bottom 3 teams in both west and east pretty poor this year.

They didn't lose BIG to Tennessee (They should have beaten TN)...they lost big to Florida. However, Kentucky did win their bowl game against their "conference champion" opponent. Last season Kentucky beat Florida State in the Music City Bowl and the year before that Clemson in the same Bowl.

Now, Kentucky is not a powerhouse yet and they are rebuilding...and if you know anything about football, you know they were emptied from graduation/draft after last season...also the guy who was supposed to be their starting QB (Curtis Pulley) got kicked off the team and had an awesome season at the school he transferred to, Florida A&M)...starting running back gone for season early in season.... Dicky Lyons Jr. injured fairly early in season and gone for the rest of senior season. So we had a true freshman, Randall Cobb at QB at times early becaus e Hartline wasn't cutting it..., then Cobb got starter for the last three and did pretty well...then he got hurt again in last regular season game.

...and we still had a winning season, still beat another conferences champion. Not making excuses for my team...you have to be pretty damn good to come out of that mess. Talk about the first few games if you like, but Louisville was supposed to be good this season, we try to play our rivals you know. The only beating we took was by the National Champions...that ain't so bad.

I would admit they would beat wsu and uw, but they would be comparable to low level pac 10 team ASU, UCLA.

FSU, USC are the two top teams this nation this year, they should have been playing to find out more.

Tebow is no Manning. I don't like Manning, at all. And I am a HUGE fan of Tebow. I think he's a great kid and a good FB player. I'm just realistic and honest, I don't think he will be a top tier QB.

I'm not comparing them as players. No comparison, alot of people said the same thing about Manning coming out of College. Tebow is gonna stick around another year and I'm sure his draft status will shoot up. Will He ever play up to the hype at the next level? Time will tell.
