Why would UD not release a set of EX under the Fleer name as one of it's yearly products...am I crazy or was it one of the most popular sets of the mid-late 90's and early 00's???

If they released it and it had essentical credentials, logo's, barrel's, veteran and rookie autographs, patch cards and so on...I'd bust a case and go nuts on singles.

This hobby is stagnant, give me some plastic!!!

Anyone agree?

I always thought the clear plastic cards were cool, but the hobby wants cardboard lol. Upper Deck hasnt marketed a single successful product under the Fleer name btw...

I know. The major players in this industry are very untalented.

Fleer Ultra was a disaster. That's why it's gone.

That is very cool! And exactly what I'm taking about. Have the Jambalaya insert be a very large set and SP the heck out of them....it would be great.

Adam, also got these in the same box.

Spoke with Upper Deck and they told me they had no plans to bring back any Fleer products into baseball.

I remember loving to bust that product. The base cards were the coolest looking set of any, and the GU cards were awesome too (from back when GU cards actually meant something)

I wish I had a scanner on me because I just recently dug up a Jeff Kent parallel numbered to 64 or somethin. Pretty nice card.
