Flyers Fans

I went to the game last night, and I can easily say these are the worst (as in attitude, not to their team) fans I've EVER seen.

So here's why. I was in the last row with a friend, we had Caps fans on either side of us, and there was a Flyers fan sitting in between 2 Capitals fans the row in front. As soon as the Flyers killed the 5-3 he turns around to all of us and goes "Yea we're the best, you guys suck if you can't score on a 5-3 that long". Then the Flyers scored and he turns around and starts mouthing off. They score again and he turns around and goes "Look at all those fuuuuckfaces in red! hahaha they suck balls!" Note the whole time, all of us kept our cool through these times. We finally scored and all mouthed off right back at him and he didn't say a word. We tied it, we yelled at him again. We then stopped the penalty shot and I go "Hey, you guys suck if you can't score on a PENALTY SHOT!" He turned around and glared at me while I laughed. We finally get the lead and about 3 of us go "Hey where'd that lead go buddy? We thought it was over!" And at that point he got so agitated and tried jumping into our row to fight us all but he wasn't successful in his bid. Yes we were all yelling the same things back and forth but the reason he was so terrible? He was taking it in seriousness and taking offense to it. We on the other hand did not and had a good time with it. Never ceases to amaze me how bad Flyer fans are. ::facepalm::

Throughout the game, several people seated immediately behind the visitors' bench took advantage of the looseness of the glass panels and the unusually wide gaps between the panels to assault the Rangers with some of the most obscene language imaginable. Because of the way the glass is installed, the patron sitting behind Coach Tortorella (the gray-haired, bearded man in the white T-Shirt) could literally scream into the coach's ear.

I do remember that, though aren't the players/coaches taught to ignore that kinda stuff? I'm not by any means saying what he did was right btw.

I've never been to a Flyers/Phillies/Eagles game, but have heard they are very passionate. IIRC they booed Mike Schmidt for a bit.

There is one in every crowd, but I will agree Philly is notorious for having some over the top fans who cannot conduct themselves intellgently.

But don't they say those who live in glass houses should not throw stones...or is that beer?

Saskatchewan Roughriders (CFL) are the worst fans (for swearing, throwing stuff) ive ever seen. For Hockey? Vancouver Canucks fans get get pretty rowdy in Calgary.
