Two cards sold recently of Earl Bennett. The more expensive one being 57 DLVD versus 38 DLVD. Both BIN. Both are 3 colors #/99.

What am I missing that makes the vertical stripes more expensive than the horizontal stripes? Did the buyer not see the Horizontal stripe one or is it in terms of 'breaks' that the vert is a better value in time?

Help the dummy ~ both pics are bellow

Dates of auctions? Even so auctions are right place right time. I lost a card fo Holmes that sold for 69 dollars but won it the same week from a different seller for 42. One reason the guy I was bidding against had his and was not in the running for mine so not driving the price up lol.

That is why I bid on cards I have if I to make sure they get close to what I have paid ;)

Great point. Both ended today one at 9am one at 10am.

The vertical stripe sold first for 57 dlvd then the horizontal for 38 dlvd.

Both of these were BIN listings.

You won't ever be able to figure it out, some people on ebay are just retarded. Why do some poeple bid on a card that has 3 days left and it's at $20 with 10 bids and the same exact card is ending in 2 hours is only at $10 with 4 bids and both sellers are power sellers with great feedback???????

You're not the dummy, it's some of the moron's on ebay that are the dummies!!!!

mstng99tim pretty much sums it up. Theres no rhyme or reason for a lot that goes on ebay. Why does someone win a card on auction for $100, when there is one sitting in an ebay store for BIN $60? People are stupid

Btw i personally prefer the second one out of those two, the one thats horizontal and cheaper.

Kinda the same deal with my Stafford 8x10 from Panini....One had just sold for BIN for 200, put mine up at 125 and it never sold till I dropped it to 75.

Good I am not crazy then lol.

I thought that it was part of the letter in the jersey or the number of breaks in the patch...or that white is the hardest color to find, etc.....I agree I like the 2nd one much better.

I sold mine for $115 and I was happy with it, because another one sold a few days after mine for like $56.
