Just got this in today. On the one hand it's a Razor but on the other it's a cut auto #5/19 of a hall of famer, and it's my first cut.

It was sad news to hear that Brooks Robinson passed away.

One of the best 3rd basemen in MLB history. HOFer and WS Champ.

Seems like a good price for a cut, but personally I'd much rather have the full HOF postcard. They would both sell for around the same price, I believe.

I seriously hope that was sarcasm.

As for the OP, I'm glad that you are happy with your purchase. Just me, but I'd rather have the full postcard than a cut. Robinson autographs are about as common as air, and can usually be found for about $10.00 on regular baseball cards. It's cuts like that which make me laugh at Razor in general and in specific.

To me, these cards that don't have a picture of the player and are just not enhanced by the Razor holder or the numbering. I'd rather just have a HOF postcard signed of Brooks uncut, which probably could be had for the same price. There are some ***** leaguers in this Sports Icon set I'd like to have certified autos of, but they just are very unattractive cards to me so I'm passing on them.

I'd rather have another value Brooks auto card, but I'm still waiting to win one before I disclose what value card that would be.

I can see why Razor would use a cut for a living player like Brooks - cheaper to include a brooks auto in a product and produce it w/o having to ink brooks to a deal.

I agree Sean, 1000%.
Why the need for a cut from a living dude who signs a ton.
But to each his own with how you spend your money.
Would rather have the Goudey auto that was posted or MANY other on-card auto of Brooksie's that can be had for $15-$25 or so.
Just my 2 pesos though.
