I like the guy as a person. I dont really pay attention to all of the off field stuff. He is all business on the mound, and really that is all that matters.

The single most popular Major Leaguer to my entire Cape League team this summer. It isn't even close too.

At least the guy has some personality. I get so sick of boring modern athletes. There is not many interesting players anymore, especially in baseball.

I don't like him because he is at least 2 of the 3 "G's". Pretty sure he is a "Ginger", he is a "Giant", and for the third "G" well let's just say that being in San Francisco makes him suspect :P

But seriously he is a little amusing, well except for the whole stupid arm crossing thing that he does.

Any idea what the crossed arms are for? His tribute to his father who has passed and his respect for God.....so annoying.....

So what, it's still annoying. And yes I knew why he does it.

Agreed. I have no problem with him paying respect to someone, but the guy is a clown out there. I know he's a relatively smart guy and he is a fairly good closer, but the act is tired and I'm pretty sure everyone that's not a Giants fan hates him. He's no where near as annoying as the pseudo-intense Papelbon stare, the John Rocker shenanigans, Mitch Williams, or the many others that have come before, but he's getting there. The Fear the Beard campaign/slogan was lame too. This isn't hockey people.

Does Jose Valverde fit into "other"? I thought he would have been first ballot.

Seems like there are many, many other things to worry about other than professional athletes' personalities.

"He thinks he's all..."
"Look at how fake..."
"I am so annoyed by..."
"Who does he think..."

Your brain, assuming its functioning, should have bigger fish to fry (even on a baseball card message board). There is no excuse for getting worked up over something like Brian Wilson's antics. Direct your attention elsewhere.
