For Anyone Who Doesn't Know How Live.com Cashback Works

Hope this helps everyone! I've had this thread going for a while, so any live.com info or questions should be asked in this thread as apposed to making new threads. It's here in the sticky central thread, and I will be here to update the current % discount as they change. Thank you for tuning in.

As of 04/20/2009: 8% cashback with Live.com!!!

1.Go to http://search.live.com

2. Search for one the following terms:
• Cheap Ipod/Baseball Cards/Gold Coins etc.

3. Look for the sponsored link that says "You may get 35%(or whatever % its currently at) off with PayPal if eligible." Click it.

4. You will now be sent to Ebay. Make sure you see the green Microsoft cashback 35%(Again whataver % its currently at) off.

5. Search for any item you want, just like if you were searching for a player/product.

6. Make sure you have the Buy It Now tab selected.

7. The offer is valid for 3 purchases and a cash back of up to $250, and cashback of up to $2,500 annually.

8. Pay with your PayPal account.

9. Go back to your Ebay account.

10. Go to My Messages, you will receive a message from Ebay,"You've earned Cashback."

11. Click on the Get Cash back button or go to http://cashbackaccount.search.live.com/ ... lcome.aspx

12. Create a live.com account if you don't already have one.

13. It will take a day or two before your Live Cashback account shows your pending cashback amount.

14. Go to Payment Preferences and link your PayPal account to your Live Cashback account.

15. In 60 days you will get your cashback into your PayPal account.

Russ, if you already have a hotmail account, you can use that.

I've seen alot of people without answers on this subject, so I thought I'd help.

Its true that you really kind of kick yourself when you realize how easy it is when your pointed in the right direction.

I just got my money back for the pre-sale case of Bowman Chrome last week. Its cool that you forget about it, and then you get an email saying in a week you'll have 200+ in your paypal account.

FYI, when they expanded it to 6 uses, they dropped the maximum cashback to $200.

Has anyone tried using the Live.com discount using 3 separate ebay accounts? I signed up for an extra account and have now used the discount 6 times on each. I know in the terms there was some mention of a limit of $2500 in total, but I wasn't sure what that was based upon.
