On my previous 3 purchases I got an email back stating I've earned cashback with the link to "get cash back". The mornings purchase I got an email stating my purchase was eligible for cashback with no link. I did everything the same as before. Is there something wrong with this last purchase?

The same thing happened to me on a purchase I made yesterday.... except this is the first time I tried using live.com for a purchase.

Basically, I got this message but the "Get Cash Back" button isn't there.

Nope, its a free service that microsoft is letting us use to try and get more traffic and become the #1 search engine

WHAT THE HELL!!! I have tried a hundred times to do this, and I can't get to eBay from the f-ing search!!! It keeps re-directing me to other searches every time I click on the eBay 25% link... I'm SO pissed off!

You more than likely have some spyware on your computer redirecting you.

Download one or both of these, run it, and try again:

That's weird. When you paid, you did see the little logo stating that you would get 25% back throughout the checkout process, correct?

Yup. Everything went like the tutorial here until I got the message from eBay saying I have cash back but there wasn't a button.

One time I had to wait a couple days for the money to show up in my live.com account. Continue to be patient, it should be in your account in a couple days at the latest. If its not by Wednesday evening, let me know so you or I can contact microsoft.

I have a Mac though...

Does Mac not support the adaware program? I'm not exactly sure what to tell you as it may be something with the Mac or your OS. I'm not intelligent with Macs for the reason that I've never owned one and have rarely used them.

I've been thinking of buying a new guitar and this might be the push I need to pull the trigger. Don't see the guitar I want on eBay and was wondering if I could use the discount on sites like samash.com, guitarcenter.com etc.

When I did the search I only noticed the discount tag next to the link for eBay.

Any help is much appreciated!!

Good luck on your search. I have no idea how popular of a model that is, but I would be shocked if one would not be listed with the holdiays right around the corner
