What other websites do you guys use to buy Frank cards? I have bought a few from beckett marketplace, checkoutmycards.com, sportsbuy, ecrater, and sportslots.

BunchOBull: Nice find on that gold jumbo

randyherth: I know what ya mean. I really like them. They remind me of the '99 Topps Steel Gold Domed. I REALLY hate that they are not standard size though. The 94's were included w/ the purchase of the Member Only set so I'd assume the 95's were distributed the same way.

I buy 95% of my cards from eBay, and the other 5% from Beckett, COMC, Sportlots, Sportsbuy, & trades.

Very nice cards Justin & Randy. Was the gold refractor the last one you needed?
Yes Chad it was. I have never seen one sell below $35 and I bid on one last month and ended picking it up for $12. I was in shock.

How hard are these to obtain? I have never seen one before but then again I have never looked for one.

Pretty tough, not impossible. I'd say 1 or 2 show up on eBay a year.

I also have not been looking for this with much intent, but am now getting to the point that I am familiar with each card that I need........good to see this one at auction!

I am now at 94% complete for Frank from 1987-1996, with 80 cards left to go......but most will be pricey....

Wow...hellacious mail day. Did the Diamond Club come from Burbank?

Yep, it came from them, but only because they could not find the Thomas 1996 PP Mirror Blue and offered it in exchange. Thankfully I was able to find someone else with the Thomas Mirror Blue thanks to Chad pointing me in the right direction.

Happy to have picked up a mint copy of this card:

I can't say that I have seen one of these on e-bay during the last couple years.........any idea on how rare these are? I happened to buy mine back in 2008 for < $1 from a no-name website.

I really have no clue. Not impossible, but not easy to find when you want one. This is my second copy but I'll continue to pick them up for a reasonable price when I can. I'd guess they were released for just a short period of time if Leaf was able to change the pack inserted card for the officially released product.

I'm down to needing only 10 more cards to complete the 2005 Studio Portraits set of Frank (56 card variations!). Here's what I need, can anyone help? Is anyone else trying to get all 56, or a type set of 7 cards? Thanks, Mark

So, are you saying that this version may have also been available in packs?

I had always thought this was the card inserted in dealer order sheets and the glove was altered before the base cards were released.

Sorry for the lack of clarity. I mean, the promos couldn't have been released for very long for Leaf to have been able to correct the card before packing. These were included on the order sheets and at the Chicago Sun-Times Show or some other large Chicago card show held in fall/winter from what I've been told. This flyer was also given out at the show and was later scaled down and reordered to be included in magazine publications:
