Yeah, you did really well Randy. Probably record lows on all of those cards...in some cases substantially so. The OPC and ProCards still have spikes to around $100 every few auctions or so.

Yes, they weren't intended for release, you can read about it on Lance's site:

I was very lucky that an old, tattered, resealed package arrived on my doorstep yesterday. In side, was the original copy of this card I purchased...I feel very fortunate that it showed up.

edited to add:
I just did a google archives search and found out that Berg was at both the 1996 and 1997 All Star FanFest events to build card houses. Apparently, in Philadelphia he did a replica stadium...maybe these were actually used for the '96 event. Seems like it would make more sense.
The person I got it from was actually at the event, so I'll email to ask which year he attended to get it.

wadeinbmore said:Sooooo, with the National coming to Baltimore and the announcement of an appearance by Frank Thomas, I was about as jazzed as I could be. Until I got a phone call for work in Detroit  Now I'm bailing on two vacation plans and am spending the rest of my summer away from home. BUT I'm making money so I guess thats the brightside of things. I still plan on attending Frank Thomas Day in Chicago (especially because tickets are in hand and I'm going with my dad). Damn you responsibilities!!! Sucks to have to do, but hey there is always next time. I just wanted to vent and share my frustrations. Sorry I won't get to meet the guys coming into Baltimore, but maybe I'll catch you guys in Chicago. Thanks for listening. Be well.
