To all of you Frank Thomas collectors who enjoy super sweet 90s inserts.... I have a 1998 Fleer Ultra Platinum Pizzazz of Thomas. It is /98. I pulled this card whatever 12-13 years ago. I would move this... BUT.... My main question is what is a realistic value of this card? I was able to find one from maybe a year ago that went for about $30 but, the seller had a terrible listing calling it /100 and had some other flaws.

Opinions?

I got mine a little while back for somewhere around $30. I think a realistic price for this card would be somewhere between $30-$40.

I'd say $40 sounds about right.

I am not familiar with the Thomas cards in this auction, and am curious as to why it went so high:

Randy. Love the 9.5 Topps Tiffany and the auto and numbered auto bat cards. Nice pick-ups. As to your question as to why the above auction went so high. It's the card in the upper left corner .... the 1997 Score Team Collection Premier Club and are 15 times the base price. Plus they are just plain tough to find.

3 I picked up today. All available. Tek is #39B Pattern #29. Diamond Club has some chipping on the back edges.

Bought some high end cards from someone's collection recently. These are some of the better ones. I am open to trade on most of these for Frank cards I am missing 1996 and prior

Did anyone here win the two 1997 Finest gold refractors that ended Sunday morning for $23? I was second bidder and could use one of them.

Wow, when I first glanced over the listing I was thinking it was one refractor & one base card. 2 gold refractors for $23?! I remember paying over $60 for my copy.

The last one that was listed correctly went for $35. Those of us who are serious about cards like that found it anyway.

What realistically would this have gone for if it was listed correctly?
Psshh I wish that is one that has eluded me. :( Of course I could probably pick it up If I looked hard enough. I have been more into collecting Sweeney and me Bryan Mitchell as of lately :D I have put my Thomas cards on the back burner.

why was that so expensive? isnt that a base card, or am I missing something?

You are missing something :) It is the hard to find 1993 Leaf PROMO. Notice the Franklin logo on Frank's batting glove. The logo is not on the regular base issued card.
