Would have been sick to have missed out on that opportunity. Not a surprising price at all. That is the third one I have ever seen.

I'm sick that I missed out on the opportunity to buy the whole set for $27...

It is unbelievable that noone noticed that auction who actually knew the value. It would have never made it to the finish line if I knew about it, as I would have never thought it would end at that crazy low price.

There is a strong possibility that the seller may have ended the auction early and sold the set outside of eBay if someone offered him a price he could not refuse.

Recent pickups. Anyone know anything about the 1990 Leaf R&N china "card"? I had never seen one before buying it, and am even more curious as to whether it came with the auto.

Anyone know why these SGC cards have different back cases to them, where one just has the molded logo, and the other has a hologram sticker? I recently picked up the Score card and noticed the difference in the back when I got it in the mail.

Awesome job on the coins! The Proof set is actually Enviroment, not Highland Mint. Do you have any of the Highland Mint Magnum coins?

I forgot all about those. I have one each of the silver and bronze.

Do you have some kind of checklist for ALL the coins that feature Frank Thomas (with or without the Pinnacle Mint coins)?

I have a comprehensive Frank Thomas checklist that includes coins. It was based on what Beckett showed on their website in early 2008. As I learn about cards/coins that are not on the checklist I add them. Like those 1995 All Star coins from Enviromint, or the 1994 MVP coin.

The new King of my Thomas collection (no pun intended). I thought it was lost in the mail coming to me, but it arrived, and it is glorious:

Randy. Congratulations on the King of your collection. That is an awesome and clean copy. Got an extra? ;)

I have plenty of the small ones! Just one of the big one......

Nice pickup. So jealous right now!

Does anyone have any idea of how many of the DK jumbos were printed?

I have heard that there were 10 or less. I think less exist today...... If there were more, it seems strange that they have managed to keep themselves in hiding for 20+ years now.

Really? 3 just hit the market a couple weeks ago? I bet there is more then 10 as it wouldn't
make sense for them to fire up the presses and make only 10?

I had searched for Clark regularly for years and didn't win mine until 2009. Only 1 that had surfaced at that time. I bought it from a huge Will Clark collector who originally got it off ebay, the first and only 1 listed. Since then, a couple more sets have surfaced, but like Randy said, if there were a lot more than 10 out there, we would have seen them by now. But, Randy and I did unearth a couple of sets, so they do exist. Maybe more employees will bring their's out from storage once word gets out of the couple high recent sales.
