guys what do you think this card will go for today? I haven't seen another one around in a long time and was just trying to gauge value.

I recently sold BGS 9.5's of Ripken Jr and Griffey Jr for $160 and $80 respectively, and sold two ungraded Jeter's for $32 each. Tough to say with Thomas, as I have 7, and the most I paid was around $20, and the least was under $10. The reason mine were so low is because someone was unloading a big stash of them in a very short period of time. I could see it going for around $30+, but who knows. A couple years ago I bought the whole set for $50 on ebay in one auction, all with the same serial number...... I was waiting to sell one or two of mine when I felt like it had been an extended period of time since the last one was listed.

Looks better than any other red i've seen scanned Ross. You could prob crop out most of the reflection around the edges.

I'm not selling it, I'm just trying to evaluate my entire collection and keep accurate price points on some of my key cards...not going anywhere just trying to gauge value as none have been around lately...I always track my cards on Ebay to see what they are selling for now vs what I paid for them...don't you all track certain cards?

I track most Frank on card autos
If more would ship to Canada, I would have an incredible collection for the prices they've been selling for lately.

See that prime patches Quad used auto go for 78?

Whats up guys!!!!

I haven't posted in a good while but have been actively reading the thread. I've been saving up for a new Thomas Game Used Jersey and I just completed the purchase direct from The Toronto Blue Jays. The jersey is a home white and is tagged as Set 2. I suspect it exhibits some decent use. It is MLB Authenticated. I've attached a pic of the MLB Authentication certificate when you look it up on the MLB database. I saved up a good chunk of change for this purchase and passed on a couple of other nice Thomas items but I think you will understand the importance of this jersey to me and my collection. In 1996, for the first time in his career, Frank Thomas hit 3 HRs in one game...who knows where that jersey is at this time and if its even associated with that 3 HR game. In 2007, after hitting his 500th career HR, Big Frank hit 3 HR's in one game for the second time. My newest purchase is this 2007 jersey!!! A bit of a history lesson if you didn't already know, in 1996 Thomas hit all three HRs off of the Boston Red Soxs knuckleballer Tim Wakefield. Amazingly enough, in 2007, two of his 3 HRs came against Tim Wakefield of the Boston Red Sox!!! I'm absolutely thrilled to be getting this item. Arguably one of the last high moments in his HOF career! I never post early, before I get an item, but I simply had to share. I will post pics of the jersey and all its tagging and patches etc when it arrives in a couple of days!

Lance, welcome back!!!

It's always done pretty well, but they do look nice I agree.

Here are older scans of some foil and refractor cards:

I already have more than enough scanners, but I may have to look into that one (if they still make it). Don't like how they scan the Crusades (etched background blurry), but the other scans look awesome.

That is amazing! Where do you even come across some of this stuff to even have the option to buy it?

Randy...

I got a Blue Jays contact number from a fellow collector back in 08, after he was released I believe. This will be my 5th Blue Jays Jersey of Big Frank. I have also purchased the Locker Nameplate of Franks from 08 and a Hoosier bat that he used in his final Spring Training of his playing career. This 3 HR jersey has been on my radar for quite some time now...and FINALLY I pulled the trigger. I was going to sell one of my HR baseballs but didn't have too. Instead I sold some other Non Thomas GU items and am cashed in my 5 gallon jug of pocket change and voila! I can't wait to get it. I can give you the contacts name and the current availability list if you want...I've picked out all the really good ones though :D That offer stands for everyone, not just Randy FYI.

Also, who ever got the NNOF auto'd...THAT is bad A$$ . Did Frank even know what he was signing? I love seeing all the cool and rare cards that you guys manage to get your hands on. He might not be playing anymore, but we all keep finding new things!!!!!!!!!!! Most Excellent all the way around.
