Fraudulent Card Dump on Ebay

I've never seen so many suspicious cards being sold at the same time. Someone is either working really hard or they're dumping their inventory. Obviously not every card is fake, but if you're not sure of a seller make sure to check out their other listings. Here is the list of cards that appear time and time again by these sellers:

*** encased autos of Emmitt Smith, Walter Payton, Muhammad Ali, Troy Aikman, Tom Brady, Brett Favre
full jumbo logo patches (lately mostly 2009 Ultimate and 2008 Sterling)
NFL Rookie Premiere autos (mainly 2007)
Emmitt Smith 1996 Collector's Edge autos
Topps Originals autos (lately mostly of Aaron and Mays)
Topps buyback autos of Lou Ferrigno or Adam West
sticker autos that aren't supposed to be (i.e. official Topps sticker is taken off worthless card, auto is forged for a more expensive player and put on card that didn't have an auto to begin with)

If you check out the completed listings of the sellers below you'll see that they all seem to sell the same stuff, all auctions are sold privately, and the item location of each ID is vague. It's probably all the same guy or group of people that have been selling stuff on Ebay for the past few years, except now instead of having one ID they're using six. If anyone has recently purchased from these seller's, you should post what zip code the package came from. They have had other ID's in the past and will have more in the future, but if you keep in mind the list above you can better protect yourself from bad purchases.

For what it is worth, the first seller you have listed, had a Phil Humber Bowmans Best Rookie Card with a "HUM" inscription that sold. Now, I collected Humber very heavily when this release first came out, and I do not remember EVER seeing any variations in 2005 Bowmans Best for Humber or anyone else in that release (I may be wrong about others).

A crease in the corner doesn't mean it's fake. Upper Deck's quality control was not at it's best for this set, so even though it's a big logo patch there's a chance it's real. The one sold by tedwilliamsgames is most likely fake.

Shouldn't this be deleted? Or do we only delete safety of the hobby threads when dealing with mods and owners of this site? Which makes this staying a XXXXload hypocritical!

If my opinion isn't appreciated that's fine. But don't delete my XXXXing threads when I take my time and energy to defend this XXXXing place.

I've been a member here since day one and stood ground for many people I like.. right now I feel the integrity and general give a XXXX for the community is at its lowest!

I appreciate the op taking his time making this issue known as I do with all people who feel slighted yet only some opinions are allowed to stay. Which is bullXXXX if you don't like your name associated with the bad of the hobby don't do XXXX to make it so.

Ban hammer, suspension, pm.. None of this matters to me. Im uber pissed my thread was deleted the other day and I don't want to be party to a group that erases the transgressions of few but piles on others! So good day!

You just asked me the same question twice.

A longer answer is in a matter of moments it will be gone and won't matter. However my question lies within this thread. The op took his time to do research and present valid statements about the cards being dumped. Just as those that called out Gilmore in a thread that got poofed! So what's the difference? The persons being questioned. That's it. I felt this is more appropriate than making another thread and having it go the way of the dodo!

if you fail to see that the two things share a common link in the protection of the hobby and community then i have failed to explain it to you well enough. i did ask my question in a thread and that thread was deleted.. i got an answer to my questions both here and pm and on facebook. sooooooo im done in here aside from reading further posts about the cards.. unless you keep posting as to why i ruin things.. in which case i will keep posting and this vicious circle will continue into eternity. i got the time..
