Got the Niekro patch for the opening bid of .99¢…couldn't believe it.

The Dawson bat card came from my wonderful wife. We celebrated our 5th anniversary today, and the traditional 5th anniv gift is wood...hence the bat card.

Apparently she had some help trying to contact a member here to get me a really cool wood gift, but he never responded, so he has lost my business in future.

Anyway, so she got me the Dawson bat card, and a covered outdoor firewood rack I have wanted for a while now.

She also canceled her rehearsal for tonight so she could stay home with me

We are going out for hibachi tomorrow night to celebrate!

Eh, still the waiting game. Seems that all the agents out there only want to represent established autohors. Not sure how first time writers are supposed to get into the game...lol Not giving up though.

No thanks. Its snowing out there :lol: I really don't mind the snow too much, but since its the first snow of the season I'd rather not see it. I already miss wearing shorts out there

I wear shorts when it's snowing.

It's when it gets down into the negatives that I start to rethink that.

I'm just working on picking up Joe Mauer topps chrome color. So far I have the atomic and red incoming. Doubt I'll get the super, pink, and camo

It was going great, except my Finest red refractor has been stuck in Tennessee for a week. I don't know what to do about that.

I had a card delivered from CA to NJ. Tracking showed it arrived in NJ, only to be rerouted back to CA, then back to NJ again. Took 3 weeks total but it arrived.

Bought a James Franco signed card from the Spider Man set. On-card too which is awesome. I'm currently working on an autograph set of anyone who has been roasted on Comedy Central. Only those with certified auto cards. So far I have: Donald Trump, James Franco, William Shatner, Denis Leary, and Bob Saget. I need to pick up a Charlie Sheen and Pam Anderson. No one else with an auto that I know of.

Good evening.. had to take the ride to show my local LCS guy..

He said it was the first card in a long time where he could stretch out his legs..

I only opened 3 boxes of the Leaf Sketch cards..
(anyone collect Rickey Henderson, Jose Canseco, or Olga Korbut?)

That's 3 times more than I'd pay for any auto'd card (minus a few select autos) let alone a base card regardless of grade
