Early morning for Lance hitting the car lots looking for a compact car this weekend!

Goooood Morning all!

Our main car is kept on a lot so size hasn't been an issue so far but I am shopping for a second car to keep on the street. My neighborhood is permit only so I am looking for a compact for quick trips and the like if me or my wife need to do so. We both drive just too often where a second car is needed at this point and will actually be cheaper then all these cab rides!!

Any thoughts out there? Golf? Ford Focus? Mazda 3?
