FYI if you got "10% off books, music, etc." eBay Coupon

I know I'm not the only one who got the recent eBay coupon. It explicitly says "10% off only in these categories: Books, Music, Movies and Video Games."
Well, I just bought a card and thought just for the hell of it that I would try to apply the coupon. The card was $200 and change, and sure enough, the coupon applies and on my Paypal reciept, I only paid $180. So despite what it says about it being exclusive to those categories that none of us ever use, it worked for me on a card listed in "Sports, mem, fanshop" etc. Maybe I'll get hit with a charge down the road, but so far, it looks like it works everywhere.

I just purchased a stack of cards yesterday, wish I knew it worked then. Didn't even think to try for some reason.

I just did what I would do with any other coupon. You go to the email, get the code, enter it in when you go through checkout. If you can't find the e-mail, go to "Items I've won" on my eBay, scroll to the bottom and it should say "You have a coupon" and it gives you the code.

Would it work for both auctions if you paid for the 2 auction wins, but they are both by the same seller? Since it'd be the same payment, I'm thinking it should but I don't know.

....just worked for me for an item that was not in one of those categories- very pleased.....
