I'm sorry guys, I'm really trying to believe that luck has played no part in the Giant's postseason success, but after that inning, so lucky. They scored another run because of an error, and a Lee HPB, it's almost like the baseball Gods are wearing black and orange tonight.

That and 2 clutch hits. Lee hitting a batter is not 'luck', it's poor pitching. And an error is not 'luck' it's poor defence. By your logic, any good and/or bad performance could be considered luck as long as it's in favor of the Giants...

So you can't say to Lee, sorry bad luck about your defense? Also, if it was against the Rangers, I would say the same thing. I'm guessing you are a biased impartial Giants fan?

Guessed wrong. Luck is something attributed in an attempt to discredit poor/good play depending on which side of the fence your on. I was not the one trying to water down a productive inning by the giants by labeling it as luck, you were. And no, I'd say 'sorry for your poor defence"..

Guessed wrong. I'm not a Rangers fan, but I do as a result of the Giants fans on this board, hate the Giants. I'm shocked by the inability of Giants fans to simply acknowledge that they got some luck their way in a sport that is so based on luck.

And to kdailey, a little bewildered by your comment, I thought we got this out of our system. Since you didn't, I will offer you a response, no it's Lincecum getting him out, believe it or not a hitter does do that quite a bit in baseball.

But I see, that you guys take strength in numbers, so do your thing guys.

That isn't LUCK, that is poor play.

So there is no such thing as luck in baseball? So Huff's error in the NLCS was bad play, not bad luck, even with that nasty hop?
You seem to have forgotten what I said earlier. Being lucky is better than being good. Luck does exist, but that play wasn't luck. That was poor defense. Huff got a nasty hop, that was bad luck.[/quote:irb0alpa]

Right if the Giants make an error, it's bad luck. I got your reasoning.

Hamilton is just having bad luck, while Lincy is having good luck.

I'm a huge Hamilton fan. That said, he seems a bit eager up there. He probably has so much adrenaline going through him. Lincecum has made some nice pitches to him (especially 1st pitch of his 1st AB).

I think Hamilton will eventually prevail in the series.

Although Lincecum did get lucky in the 3rd at bat first pitch. It looked like Hamilton was sitting change up and Timmy hung it and Hamilton just missed it fouling it off.

Wow, aren't you stubborn? You said it yourself that was bad luck. I guess you forgot the quote I brought up in this discussion on a different thread? Hardest person ever to reason with. The last Conrad error was bad luck, he got an in between hop.

"Depending which side of the fence your on" is exactly what you said, implying me being a Ranger's fan, which I'm not, thus you were wrong, not too hard. And I am a master debater.

Freddy Sanchez WS MVP?

On a side note, I hope Lee strikes out four more. It'd be cool to see a nice postseason 10 K streak going...

Yep. Just like your Dodgers. Sitting at home playing with yourselves.
Never mind that's the other master.

Ahh, you guessed my best quality, my stubborness. I'd rather be stubborn than a biased impartial Giants fan. So it's only an error if a bad hop is involved, oh in case you guys were wondering, I'm your lucky charm. I've called this game from the beginning, told my roomie that Lee would get rocked, and called the Sanchez double right before the at-bat. Your welcome. Lastly, I hope you guys take solace in making me absolutely hate the Giants because of their fans on this board, congratulate yourselves guys.

Your 'implication' is self imposed. I just made a blanket statment even including 'both sides of the fence'. So again, your logic, comprehention, and debating skill are flawed. And 'master debater'? More like masterbater...

Wow, that was a mature response. I'm really surprised, I thought we were cool kdailey, shouldn't surprise me as most of the Giants fans I know are cowards, nice though. Called me out on the joke I was making, absolutely hilarious.

No, you definitely aren't the Giants lucky charm. You are a biased fan who only cares about your own team who really hates the Giants. A bad hop is an example of bad luck.
