They scored another run because of an error, and a Lee HPB, it's almost like the baseball Gods are wearing black and orange tonight.
That and 2 clutch hits. Lee hitting a batter is not 'luck', it's poor pitching. And an error is not 'luck' it's poor defence. By your logic, any good and/or bad performance could be considered luck as long as it's in favor of the Giants...
So you can't say to Lee, sorry bad luck about your defense? Also, if it was against the Rangers, I would say the same thing. I'm guessing you are a biased impartial Giants fan?
Guessed wrong. Luck is something attributed in an attempt to discredit poor/good play depending on which side of the fence your on. I was not the one trying to water down a productive inning by the giants by labeling it as luck, you were. And no, I'd say 'sorry for your poor defence"..
Guessed wrong. I'm not a Rangers fan, but I do as a result of the Giants fans on this board, hate the Giants. I'm shocked by the inability of Giants fans to simply acknowledge that they got some luck their way in a sport that is so based on luck.
And to kdailey, a little bewildered by your comment, I thought we got this out of our system. Since you didn't, I will offer you a response, no it's Lincecum getting him out, believe it or not a hitter does do that quite a bit in baseball.
But I see, that you guys take strength in numbers, so do your thing guys.
Decided to ignore dutchy now, Lee looks affected by the crowd.lisu said:staying on topic - Lee just walked Burrell - Cody Ross up with runners at 1st and 2nd!
You seem to have forgotten what I said earlier. Being lucky is better than being good. Luck does exist, but that play wasn't luck. That was poor defense. Huff got a nasty hop, that was bad luck.[/quote:2vciol76]GiantsSuperCollector said:dutchj16 said:That isn't LUCK, that is poor play.GiantsSuperCollector said:dutchj16 said:GiantsSuperCollector said:

I'm sorry guys, I'm really trying to believe that luck has played no part in the Giant's postseason success, but after that inning, so lucky. So there is no such thing as luck in baseball? So Huff's error in the NLCS was bad play, not bad luck, even with that nasty hop?
dutchj16 said:kdailey4315 said:dutchj16 said:"Depending which side of the fence your on" is exactly what you said, implying me being a Ranger's fan, which I'm not, thus you were wrong, not too hard. And I am a master debater.
Yep. Just like your Dodgers. Sitting at home playing with yourselves.
Never mind that's the other master.
Wow, that was a mature response. I'm really surprised, I thought we were cool kdailey, shouldn't surprise me as most of the Giants fans I know are cowards, nice though. Called me out on the joke I was making, absolutely hilarious.
