It's happened all year. The Giants go weeks without scoring runs then they open up a can. They opened up a case tonight.

You can add Lee to the list of "dominant" pitchers the Giants have roughed up this year.

Lee
Oswalt
Halladay
Jimenez
Johnson
Hamels
Wainwright
Latos
Kershaw, for all you Dodger fans

I imagine that last name is directed at me, so not sure how Kershaw having a 1.55 ERA in 4 starts this year against the Giants means he got roughed up?

UUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!

I am glad I was off. I have to be negative with the Giants since there is no way to get excitement otherwise :)

Is it just me or is there not much of a set in Lee's delivery?

Not much movement/placement on his stuff either. It's gonna be a short night.

good call

It does not happen often, but when it does it makes lee very hitable. Once he looses a bit of the movement and is off on his placement, it usually a short night for him.

Giants have lost this game...Lee is too good. Lincecum needs better conditioning.
wow were you off

I told him he was giving up too early on the Giants. :)

Nice placement by Timmy on that dribbling ground ball!

So that means the Series is pretty much over then, doesn't it? Cain beats Wilson for sure, 2-0, series over in my opinion.

It's called being a fair-weather fan. Easier to say, whatever and give up, and accept a bad start as a loss.

I am a negative person as it is, but I give up on the Giants early because of their torture, that way it doesn't get to me as much and when they break it open or take the lead I am glad I am wrong and am even more excited!

Between being a massive Hamilton fan, wanting to see Vladdy/Young finally get a ring, bitterness towards the Giants beating the Phils, seeing Bonds in the stands smiling like he has something to do with this butt-raping the Giants are putting on the Rangers, and the 2nd worst-homerism on the boards that comes from Giants fans here (save one or two)...this game is just awful. Will be even worse if the Giants end up winning the series.

Since Lee flat out refuses to pitch on short rest it's going to be a hard hole to crawl out of. I think Bumgarner wins game 4 over Hunter. Game 3 will be the toughest. Sanchez pitching in the first WS game ever in Arlington.

I guess Cliff Lee isn't God after all... lol... this series is far from over though. Lots of people wrote the Rangers off after Game 1 against the Yankees... oops... That said - let's go Giants!

I couldn't agree more, except I didn't really want either the Giants or the Phillies to win. I just wish one single Giants fan could be impartial, thats all I ask.
