I saw he's at 2,498 hits for his career, which gives him at least an outside chance at the elusive 3,000 hit club. He'd need to play four more years to get 500 hits I'd estimate. Do you think he has a chance, and if he does it, would he be a Hall of Famer? That magic number is pretty much an automatic ticket in, but he definitely does not have the HOF feel to him. Very good player, and borderline elite at one point, but he's interesting to discuss. He has a Rookie of the Year, World Series Ring, All Star Game MVP, and even a HR Derby win. What do you guys think?
