When daddy buys you a Lebron James Exquisite then you will be correct.

If both cards are the same grade the milkin is worth 5 times more

Why would someone grade a Lebron exquisite if it would only get an SGC10?
Think about how little sense your post made.

::facepalm:: Actually it makes perfect sence if you can read. But I guess I'll dumb it down a bit. If both the milkin and the lebron were graded and both cards received identical grades the milkin is worth much more. ie. both cards graded mint or both cards graded gem the milkin is much more valueable.

First of all, his name is MIKAN not MILKIN. See if you can read that.
Next, you dont send a garbage condition modern card to be graded. If you did, you're a fool as theres no point to grade a severly damaged modern card.
Its 2 totally different things for a 60 year old card to grade a SGC 10 and a 10 year old card to grade a SGC 10.

Re: THE MOST VALUABLE CARD

I'm not saying my exact card that I own is worth the most. ::facepalm:: The mikan card is worth the most in the same grade, any grade. Thank you sweetness for explaining it to these people.

I just picked up THE 1948 Bowman George Mikan rookie card in SGC 10. It is the most valuable basketball card in the world.

You just said it was in your first post. Then you acted like your card was worth 218k.

If a Lebron Exquisite graded a PSA10, it would STILL outsell the Mikan in a PSA10. If the UNGRADED gold Lebron exquisite sold for 250k, more than a PSA10 Mikan, surely a PSA10 Lebron exquisite would sell for even more.

care to respond or do you finally get it?

Good point but the other 22 cards or 2 cards would never even come close that price. Stastically speaking if you took a random sampling of the selling prices for the cards the milken is better

I believe theres only 1 MIKAN PSA10, so the same can be said for that card. It was said to have been cut from a sheet and not from a pack. More likely for another Lebron to sell than for another PSA10 to even exist.

The reason why the Mikan got the PSA10 is that it was part of a sheet that was uncut and was laser cut at a later date. Its not really likely for there to be another PSA10, but thats not to say there wouldnt be other really quality grade ones like a PSA7

Re: THE MOST VALUABLE CARD

BTW, no legit grading companies will grade laser cut cards anymore as they come back "altered"

Re: THE MOST VALUABLE CARD

I doubt it would be worth much more as George Mikan is losing respect in the Basketball world and is not even mentioned in a conversation of great NBA players. Whatever you make will probably be negated by inflation.

Investing in a Wilt Chamberlain RC, on the other hand, wouldn't be too bad of an idea.
