I'm basically stealing sportcardtheory's thread from yesterday. I really wanted to get in but was too late.

I can be the one who creates the account. I need 4 others to join me for this to work. It would be $23.99 for an entire year worth of MLB games. You would send me paypal and I will PM you the info.

Blackout games apply to where your IP address is, not who is the buyer of the account. Keep that in mind.

I'm looking to watch all the Orioles games. Let me know if you are interested.

I doubt it. If you are doing multiple usage, you're in violation of their TOS, and I assure you that they'll maintain the right to kill your account with no refund.

That being said, I'm willing to gamble the $24.

I didn't mean from MLB, I meant from the guy the money is going to. But just like you, I'd still be willing to gamble the $24.

Since sharing of a single username and password is strictly prohibited, you will get an error message. If you receive such an error message, please call MLB.com Customer Service toll free in the U.S. at 866-800-1275 (International customers can dial 512-434-1542) for further assistance.

If I understand the second one correctly only one of the 5 people would be able to watch at one time.

That's how I read it to. Worst case, if you do get blocked or blacked out you can generally find a stream on myp2p, atdhe or channelsurfing.

yeah im stunned at the lack of moral police here. usually there are guys putting people's lives on the line over this kind of deceit and theft.

Just FYI - it has gotten a LOT easier to track multiple logins over the past 6 months-a year. The only question is how much/whether MLB cares. In the past, this definately worked, but I would seriously consider that if you have 5 people sharing an account - who are all presumably big baseball fans (being as they originated on FCB) the chance that 2 or more people WILL be logged in at a given time are high. These threads are ALL over multiple message boards, and it wouldn't take much for MLB to let it go for a few weeks and then once they have ironclad cases cancel a bunch of accounts for TOS violations.

I'm really not the moral police here, but think before you get involved in this. It's only $24 yeah, but you'll be annoyed if you're blacked out come May 1st I'm betting.

I shared an account 2 years ago with just 1 other person, and within 3 weeks, the account was frozen and forced to change password. They are ALL OVER this, and not stupid either.

Also, it was frustrating because only 1 person can be logged in at a time. This was a pain in the butt with just 2 of us - I cannot imagine having 5 people sharing the same account.

I'm part of the first group that did this and my thinking was, even if we get a month of use before they catch on and shut it down, it'd be worth it. They charge $25 for a month of the service so its like I just did that. I did do some research on it and got stories from both sides. Some groups of 5 used it the whole year without issue while being online simultaneously while others ran into the problem above where just 2 users tripped the alarms.

Either way, the risk about matches the reward. It was just $24 that I didn't blow on packs which with my luck, wouldn't have been that great.
