getting a official wilson football for signing questions

fellas,

i want to get an auto football of a player and want to know a few things

1) what type of football - never got a football signed but i am thinking of buying the official wilson football. what are your thoughts on this?

2) what type of pen/ink/marker - here lies the issue. i don't know anything about getting a football signed. what do you guys recommend? what color? i've seen black, silver, gold if i recall. samples would be greats with pics!

Get the official NFL ball signed, especially if its a PC item. Signed in silver looks the best, imo. Heres a pic of a football i bought, signed in silver. I bought this shortly after Eli won the SB mvp and im very happy with it.

as for silver, you are right. looks very nice!

now, i wonder if in the signing, they will provide the pen/marker or do i need to get it? it's such a short notice though...

If its a paid signing, you would think they would have every pen imaginable, including a nice silver pen for footballs, i guess it wouldn't hurt to bring your own though. Can i ask who you plan on getting the Football signed by?

just found out marques colston is going to be at hofstra tomorrow for a signing. one of my favorite players and i live nearby. i never went for a football player signing but for him? i def. wanna go but im afraid it is gonna be packed....

ugh! just called dickssportinggoods and modell's near my house to see if they carry the balls and all out of stock!!!! :evil: :evil: :evil:

I picked mine up at Sports Authority for almost 100$
Got about 10 Chargers signatures on it that Spring Training.

Yeah, go with an Official On Field ball and silver paint pen. Never ever get one of those white panel balls. The sigs fade and bleed of those.
