Received a package today and one of the slabs has tape residue on it. What's the best/safest way to remove it?

Thanks!

goo-gone gets the glue off
it also removes the top layer of plastic from the slab

oooh wow. Never had to goo-gone a slab yet so good to know not to do that if the situation arises.

I use goo-gone on the outside of toploaders to remove scotch tape adhesive for reuse and haven't seen any apparent issues with that. I guess the slab and toploaders might use a different type of plastic composition.

I'd like to know why sellers still put price stickers directly onto slabs. I saw many at the national.
