I can't believe that Brooks Conrad didn't homer in that situation.
I can't believe that we are going to beat the Phillies.

that's because you aren't. Congrats to the Giants though, classy club and took advantage of the games they played.

Should be a great series, two fantastic pitching staffs, Game one no-hitter vs 2 hitter 14K's. Phillies took advantage of a ton of mistakes by the Reds, the Giants did the same with the Braves. I do have to thanks the Braves though, they played a heck of a series and battled all the way. GO GIANTS!!!!!!

Tough series for Heyward, 2 for 14 with 8k's.

Might just end up being the next Mr. May after all...
Dave May?

Dave Winfield, called Mr.May for his horrible postseasons with the Yankees.
Hahaha, wouldn't be surprised. Or, it was just the Giants pitching staff...

I don't know if you were trying to be funny, but that was one of the funniest statements I've ever read on these interwebs. I'm still laughing out loud.

Including today they were: 21 for 134!!! .157, that is ridiculous!

Reds were 11 for 89 (.124) against the Phillies pitching and the Braves offense is ridiculously worse than the Reds offense.

wow for all the offense that the Braves didn't put up, they were still only one run worse
than the Giants...how about some Giants batting stats, they couldn't of done much better!

I liked how one commentator said (something like),
"I've never seen a team go farther in the postseason with such a dirth of high-caliber players."

He meant it as a compliment <
