when is the best time to show up for autographs? ive never been down there before. as anyone been down to lakeland and can help me out?

Most players will sign only when their daily workouts are done, they start around 10am and finish around 1pm. At their facility, there is a roped off spot that is near the players parking lot where most fans go for autos. You may have to get their early to get a good spot as it was 2-3 rows deep last week when I was there.

If they are practacing inside Joker Merchant stadium, you may have a chance when they first come on the field or as they leave to go back to the practice fields.

It has been my experience that a classic blue bic medium point pen works best on ROMLB balls.

Bic Crystal and the Uniball Jetstream 1.0 are two of the pens favored by collectors.

Good luck in Lakeland. I despise that place for autographs - especially inside once games start. The policies there are the worst in FL and I had a horrible experiece there last year and I've sworn to not go back for games until they change. Given their recent and expected future success, that probably won't happen anytime soon.
