I decided to go after the 1999 Skybox EX Favorites for Fenway set. It's only 20 cards but it is 10 years old.
It's one of the nicest looking sets from the era and it's got some great names.
Here's what the look like and what I have so far.

If anyone has any for trade, please PM me.
You guys think it's a little nuts to go for this set?

Definitely not nuts for going after such a great looking set. Unfortunately, I don't have any to give. Good luck with the set!

I don't think I've ever seen that insert, and I had to look on Ebay to see what the others looked like. If you like it I think you should go for it, as it's a nice looking set and seems to be pretty cheap. Paying to ship them all will be annoying, but you probably already knew that. I have a few 90's insert sets that I like, but thankfully I found them in set form so I didn't have to track them all down one by one.

I only have a single copy of the JD Drew or I could help out.

I just looked at a McGwire tonight, that is a very cool card. It is the entire Cardinals team celebrating a walk-off with McGwire.

1999 EX Century is on of the best all-time releases. If UD had any clue, they would have been running the EX name since acquiring Fleer and releases unique designs, great inserts, and essential credentials.

Check some of these inserts out:

Sorry, no pictures of the shoe cards. JD Drew had the regular and then he had autographed versions in black ink and red ink both numbered to 7. I've owned a black version, but I really want the Red version.

Go for it! Those are very nice looking cards. Actually, all E-X cards look great. I have always wanted to open a box of E-X but because of cash restraints have not been able to do so.

I've always liked the credentials myself.

Hey, those are nice, especially for Player Collectors, if you can find them and afford them.

I agree. The gold sparkling text is very unusual. I think the guy pictured here pitched for one or two innings in the bigs and then retired.

Thanks guys. I thought going after a ten year old set would be kinda silly but I think it'll be cool. Picked up a Juan Gonzalez and JD Drew so only 16 left.
Again if anyone has any laying around, hit me up.
Thanks!

Just make sure there are no unreleased cards in that set. You know how Fleer is :)
