Going to Hobby shop tommorow HELP

New to collecting football and going to hobby shop tommorow, does anyone have any suggestions. Im looking more towards good products. Ill probably pick up a bunch of packs. Any help would be great.

Can't go wrong with 2009 Absolute Memorabilia.

2009 Leaf Certified looks good too.

Donruss Certieified (used to be Leaf Certified Materials) is always a good product.

you can pick up a few packs of topps chrome.....there is only one auto per box, so you may not get any "bit hit", but it'll give a chance at some nice looking rookies and refractors.

Other than that I agree with the other suggestions given.....although I'd probably be inclined to buy 0 packs if there not sold in a way where they are unmolested by customers (though Absolute - hit per pack, and good odds with DCare less an issue).....most of the "big" products haven;t come out yet.

Yeah, it's always a bit of a risk going to a new hobby shop and buying packs. You end up learning which ones can be trusted, though. Back in the day when jersey cards were worth more than a dollar, there was a shop that sold packs from opened boxes. It became apparent REAL quick that the guy searched his boxes and people just stopped going. The shop stopped selling cards altogether a year or so later.

Ive gone to this shop before, pretty nice owners gotten soem pulls before too. This is the first time I would be going for football though.
