Going to Yankees ST this wknd How's the night life in Tampa?

I will be going down this Friday-Sunday. I am going down with my girlfriend so, we hoping to hit some local clubs. Any good places near the Sheraton Tampa Airport?

lol...i checked out the city's web site and saw what you mean lol.

It's been awhile since I've been there, about 8 years, so I'm sure it has changed some, but it's like a mini-Bourbon Street.
It's actually 3 streets of clubs, and neat shops.
Any type of club you could want. County, Goth, Dance/Techon, Hip-Hop, Alternative, Oldies, Jimmy Buffet Style, and "rainbow clubs".
Just an all around neat experience. Again, this was years ago, and I still remember the place.

I live in Tampa and would also suggest hitting up Ybor, 7th Ave is the main strip and has a varity of clubs and bars to choose from.
