gold refractors, would you and are they worth getting signed

well plans changed , I was going to the Jet Hawks game Thursday, looks like Ill be going Friday when the play the Padres team "storm"..

any how , I have a gold refractor of pitcher Anthony Bass , he is not a big name. My question is are they worth getting signed .and do autos hurt trade value / sell value on cards like these ...thnx

I'd say a new blue sharpie.
Ive used the lumocolor ones and I'm not a fan of them.

Black ink and rub down with baby powder is the best with chrome refs.

Staedtler Lumocolor Blue. It is the marker that Topps uses for signatures on all cards.


To get the card ready to get signed, rub the surface with one of these...

(Make sure the card doesn't have anything on the surface that will scratch it)

Then, clean the surface of the card with rubbing alcohol.

This has never failed me and autos come out crisp and clean on chrome.
A chrome fresh out of the pack, with no fingerprints or grease, won't need to be rubbed down.

And to the guy who said he is not a fan of Lumocolors, I take it you are not a fan of the ink used on Topps auto cards right?
