There are 52 cards, ranging from Brady to Tebow. The checklist is included in every box. I have one but don't want to type out all those names. Some of the retired guys are Elway, Montana, Aikman, Young. All the rookies are there -- all the rookies -- so you could get Bryant, Tebow or Bradford ... but also Benn, Thomas, Gresham. Great concept by Panini.

From Starr to Brees are eaach Super Bowl versions, which is why Favre, Brady, Roethlisberger and the Mannings have 2 cards each.

Being able to pick up in person is pretty nice. I am watching all the redemption cards listed on ebay. I imagine winning about 5 of them, then driving up to Dallas and saying,"Gimme."

Didn't Action Packed have gold cards for like $4500 per box back in the mid-90s? Whatever happened with them?

I plan on making a run on the Manning but not $2k level run. At least I can say I was high bidder at one point in the auction. Is that the base Manning card?

Will wait and see. This card certainly has the wow factor but that type of coin required could buy a solid variety of rookie year issues. I still have a '98 Topps Autograph and spx on my want list.

Jeez, imagine if they have these in basketball. Four figures easily for all of them, and the Kobe and Lebron would be five. And if they had them in baseball? Even without MLB logos, they'd probably be higher than Superfractors. I'm sure that'll happen eventually.

The 14-KRT Gold cards will NOT be in Contenders basketball. Panini is coming out in May with a Panini Gold set and they will be in those.
