Charlie, that's pretty cool, but it would make a huge sig. Can you make it smaller? I know, pushy little cuss aren't I.

Before you change your sig Art...I just wanted to let you know it took me until now to notice that it is Piazza and Bay in the picture of your current sig ::facepalm::  ::facepalm::  Don't know why I am saying that out load but that is pretty frickin' awesome 8-)

Dave - Glad to hear 8-) Can't wait to see your first youtube vid either ;)

I noticed it before, Art ;)

Oh and not to be a PITA, but a suggestion, you could shorten it by taking the top "BAY" out since it's below too. Sorry Charlie

Morning Joe! GL to the Bengals! (sure hope I see my team in the playoffs again before I die! )

Art - I think it was Alex who deserves the :benson: Dave and I are much more observant.

If you want to set up the rotating sig let me know. You either follow the link here - http://cutandpastescripts.com/ - and figure out how to set it up, or if you want some help let me know and I can set it up for you. For a small fee, of course.

Dave- Thanks brother! It would be nice to win a playoff game again. It's only been 21 years since we won a playoff game. It's only been 4 years since we made the playoffs last, but making the playoffs and winning in the playoffs are very different things. The Bills will get there again. a new coach will certainly help.

Art- The new sig is sweet!

it's good to see we are having a much more active MT today. I don't want to have to watch Charlie entertain himself later this afternoon like I did yesterday.

Joe good luck to your Bengals tomorrow.

Dave hopefully the Sabres can win their 6th in a row. I think the Penguins will be fine. they went through a losing streak just like this last season at the exact same time and look how well that ended up.

this was before last nights loss but still very strange...

Dave (p)- Thanks! Sorry to see the Pens are in a bit of a skid. I'm sure they'll turn it around soon though.

Charlie- No one kills the MT better than you brother. Of course, I have no doubt that I don't want to know how you entertain yourself.

I love seeing old clips like this of all the "cutting edge" technologies produced at a given time.

http://news.yahoo.com/video/tech-15749651/ces-1979-flashback-look-at-electronics-17519547

My highlights from the vid:

His pronunciation of "cAAAsette"

$75 for a VHS tape. "***** costs more"

Vinyl video players (never heard of that one before)

and the new "small" portable tv camera. ::facepalm::
Wow. It's incredible to compare how long it took to get to that point technology-wise in history, and where we are today in 30 years. Can you imagine of Bill Gates had died in a car accident before his inventions? How would that have impacted things?

Dave - I have very often thought about things like that.

The cell phone, just in the last 15 years, has gone from being:

a briefcase
to a brick
to fitting in your pocket
to sending small texts
to having a color screen
to having a still camera
to having a video camera
to sending pics
to sending videos
to sending and receiving emails
to being almost as powerful as your average pc

If you stop for a minute and think about how far we've advanced in the last 50 years, it blows your mind.

Good afternoon gents! Just read the 8 pages and am completely floored by Art's new sig, nice. As far as how far we've come in a relatively short time, I believe I read somewhere that the first three flight of the Wright brothers plane would be able to have been done on the wingspan of a Boeing 747. Now that's progress!

reminds me of one of my favorite quotes of all time.

On Oct. 9, 1903, the New York Times wrote:
"The flying machine which will really fly might be evolved by the combined and continuous efforts of mathematicians and mechanicians in from one million to ten million years."

On the same day, on Kill Devil Hill, NC, in his diary, a bicycle mechanic named Orville Wright wrote:
"We unpacked rest of goods for new machine."
