Was coming back from my vacation and thought about trying to get in the stadium before the game to try to get Strasburg to sign a ball. The traffic was backed up a mile for the home opener, just wait until tonight. Anyways, didn't go so I tried Scranton to see if I can get Montero after the game. Montero apparently has an ego now compared to last year and didn't sign one thing for anyone after the game, just went to his car with a bodyguard. It didn't bother me one bit because I will attempt to get him next week in Syracuse.

Yikes! Montero with a bodyguard? Last year in Trenton he was super nice until some ******** EL graphers ruined that. They were handing him 10+ things to get signed. Absolutely uncalled for and it is people like that ruin the hobby for everyone.

I absolutely agree. I get so embarassed for those people. They have no shame.

So true..I hate that...but it also comes down to the player.. He shouldve signed 1-2 then walk away....not the 10+ people would have. When I saw him last yr in CT...he was signing 3 per.
Its the same in Pawtuckett, home team players get walked to their cars once in awhile.
Craig Hansen got walked to his car almost every home game.

Also just because he didn't sign doesn't mean he now has an ego....maybe he was in a bad mood..ect...or just didnt feel like signing lastnight. most players change their signing habits from night to night.

Wow...that's pretty bad.

I got him about 6 times last year (all different dates), I never asked him to signed more than 1 thing each time. Only 1 time I had my girlfriend with me and had her get a ball signed by him too.

I actually like keeping what I get personally signed. Baseball cards that I buy on ebay, I'll flip, in person autos are different.
